    21 Japanese flight attendants of United Airlines are going to be fired!

    2016年6月4日,一位日本工作的朋友,在東京成田機場(Narita Airport)準備上班的他,遇到剛被美國聯合航空資遣的日本籍組員,眼神是看著遠方的惆悵,不過仍打起精神,對往來的旅客發著廣告單,廣告單內容訴說著,剛被美國聯合航空資遣的21位日本籍空服員,想向機場往來的各國旅客,控訴這間世界一流的公司,對員工殘無人道,廣告傳單英文原文如下:

    21 Japanese flight attendants are about to be fired!
    United Airlines, Reverse the Layoffs of Flight Attendants!

    2010  Continental and United Airlines merged and the new company is called United

    2011  They begin sharing aircraft between their routes

    2016  Closure of the Narita base announced

    We are the labor union for United Airline's Narita-based flight attendants (formerly Continental Airlines)

    United Airlines announced that as of March 31st it will no longer give work to us 20 veteran Japanese flight attendants at the Narita Base. They say we're not needed anymore because there are fewer Japanese passengers and they can use Japanese-speaking American flight attendants. But, when United and Continental merged, United told us, "The new United Airlines aims to be the world's leading airline. We want you to work your hardest without worrying about your jobs." United Airlines achieved record profits in 2015, and is continuing the employment of flight attendants in the U.S. The flights that we worked on are still in operation. It is unacceptable that United Airlines is firing Japanese flight attendants under the claim that we aren't needed anymore. We are fighting for the jobs that were suddenly taken form us! Please support our cause!
